Testimonials about Here Am I Ministry!

The Lord has laid on my heart how important it is for the body of Christ to come together and for pastors to get together and be as one. When we do this, much will be accomplished for the kingdom of God. Together we can invade the kingdom of darkness. The body of Christ can bring light to a dying world. We all know one can put a thousand to flight and two can put ten thousand to flight.

We are more powerful when we come together than when we stay by ourselves.

During the last two retreats at Heit’s Point, I saw leaders and pastors come together and walls and barriers come down. This retreat allows pastors and leaders to come and hear the Word of God and spend time getting to know one another better. Praying for and receiving from one another has brought the body of Christ much closer to being what God intended us to become in His image, one body, but many members.

I recommend this retreat to all who want God’s anointing to fall on their ministry.

The weekend retreat at Heit’s Point in May 2005 was a Spirit-filled time that afforded wonderful free worship, intense ministry, and fellowship that built friendships.

The ministry was a perfect blend of what the Lord had given to the leaders of the retreat to pass on to those who attended, and “body-to-body” ministry that was accomplished with the sensitivity that the Pastor-to-Pastor relationships made possible. Prophetic utterances were welcomed (1 Cor 14:1) and were heard not only in the services, but even around the table. The whole weekend was ministry one to another.

The fun and fellowship was plentiful, and accomplished what it should. Alliances were formed or strengthened as we played together between times of ministry. The evening games directed by Chris and Kim Mabry were a riot!

Bob and Barb Green were gracious hosts, and the retreat was a great success for all that attended. If you have a chance to be at the next event that they sponsor, don’t miss it. The Lord won’t!

Alice Howe- The song service was stirring. I enjoyed the games the night before the services started. It was relaxing and brought us together in fellowship.

Lloyd Howe- I enjoyed the fellowship with the minister. It was very good; the sweet presence of God and the relaxed feeling. Everything was marvelous, even the food was good. It was such a relaxed feeling. Everyone was happy and got along great.

Vicki Huddleston- It helped me see the ministers as fellow workers in the Kingdom. I saw them as real people with their struggles and triumphs. It made me more comfortable with the whole idea of unity. It opened doors to new relationships and friendships.
